Join us for a musical Kabbalat Shabbat and special farewell for community members Mariana Caplan and Zion Caplan-Gafni on Friday, May 1 starting at 6:00pm.

Join Rabbi Gary Berenson and Cantor Sheila Nesis as we sing special blessings for Mariana and Zion as they relocate back to the west coast this coming July. During the service, Zion (age 15) will share a special presentation on their joint project, “Soccer For World Peace”. This project and organization combines Zion’s love for soccer, travel and the Jewish value of tikkun olam (repairing the world) and aims to create meaningful connections and support underserved communities around the world through a shared love of soccer.
